The easiest level. Focus on doubles and near doubles. |

Also very easy. You add numbers ranging 0 to 9. The sum is rarely greater than 10. | 
| Level 3 | 1+12=13 7+11=18  | 
You add a 1-digit number to a low 2-digit number. The sum is at most 19. No carry-over occurs, ever. | 
| Level 4 | 11+12=23 18+12=40  | 
You add two low 2-digit numbers. The sum is at most 40. Carry-over may occur, in rare cases. | 
| Level 5 | 3+8=11 19+9=28  | 
Here you add 1-digit and low 2-digit numbers. The sum is at most 28. Carry-over will occur, always! | 
| Level 6 | 11+22=33 16+15=31  | 
You add a 2-digit number to a 1-digit or 2-digit number, to get a 2-digit sum. Carry-over may occur. |
